In 1966, Willard Walker worked with the Cross-Cultural Education Project of the University of Chicago to create learning materials for Cherokee. Sam Hair recorded the audio. The text and audio have been put together to provide excellent listening for learners of all levels.

Wesley Proctor worked hard to help save the Cherokee language. He made these recordings in 1979.
